Organized by the Indonesian Fashion Chamber (IFC) Denpasar Chapter in collaboration with Onyx Park Resort, the event will take place from December 18–21, 2025, in the exclusive Onyx Park Resort area of Ubud, presenting a fashion experience that blends with Bali's natural charm.
With the overarching theme "BEYOND BEAUTY," Bali Fashion Trend 2025 represents the evolution of modern fashion, no longer limited to visual beauty alone, but rather transforming into a medium for narrative, cultural values, identity, and a commitment to sustainability.
This year, Bali Fashion Trend 2025 emerged as one of the most comprehensive and strategic fashion events in Indonesia, with official support from the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia, Bank Indonesia, the Ministry of Creative Economy/Creative Economy Agency of the Republic of Indonesia through the ASIK (Indonesian Creative Export Acceleration) Program, Viva Cosmetics, Viva Muda, and the Ministry of Immigration and Correctional Services of the Republic of Indonesia.

The event was officially opened by Ari Satria, S.E., MA, Director of Export Development of Creative Products and Services at the Ministry of Trade. In his remarks, he emphasized that Bali is once again a strategic meeting point for international designers and buyers, as well as a crucial momentum for Indonesian creative works to penetrate the global market. According to him, Bali Fashion Trend 2025 is a space where culture and innovation merge on one runway, affirming that Indonesia's cultural heritage has strong appeal and relevance on the international stage.
Bali Fashion Trend 2025 features more than 105 national and international designers, including guest designers from Malaysia, Italy, and Iran, reinforcing its position as an international fashion event that brings together work, culture, and industry in one strategic platform.
Not only did the show feature professional designers, but five fashion schools from leading educational institutions also received a dedicated stage to showcase the creativity of the next generation of the Indonesian fashion industry, marking BFT's commitment to the regeneration and sustainability of the national fashion ecosystem.
Set in the premium destination of Ubud, the BFT 2025 runway experience was curated across four main categories: Casual & Resort Wear, Ethnic Contemporary, Evening Wear, and Modest Fashion, all presented within a tropical aesthetic and Balinese natural atmosphere.
Each collection presented not only offered visual beauty but also conveyed a strong narrative of culture, craftsmanship, and the exploration of traditional and contemporary techniques. Neli Gunawan, Chairwoman of the BFT 2025 Committee and Chairwoman of the IFC Denpasar Chapter, stated that Bali Fashion Trend is a meeting place for global creativity and Indonesian cultural identity. This year, the curation was strengthened with a more in-depth, innovative experience that is relevant to current and future fashion developments. She stated that BFT is not just a fashion show, but an ecosystem where creative talent, culture, business, and innovation intertwine sustainably.
A commitment to sustainable fashion is one of the main pillars of BFT 2025, manifested through the use of environmentally friendly materials, the implementation of low-waste production techniques, the strengthening of local crafts, and functional and durable designs. This vision aligns with global developments and affirms that the future of fashion is sustainable, responsible, and rooted in local wisdom.
The involvement of various strategic institutions enriches the BFT 2025 landscape. Bank Indonesia presents several dedicated slots showcasing leading UMKM from various provinces, while the Ministry of Creative Economy/Creative Economy Agency, through the ASIK Program, participates in special curation sessions to strengthen the competitiveness of national creative UMKM.
Furthermore, the Ministry of Immigration and Correctional Services of the Republic of Indonesia is involved in a collaborative program that connects fashion creativity with the empowerment of inmates, creating a space for inclusive social collaboration in the fashion industry. In addition to fashion shows, Bali Fashion Trend 2025 also hosts a series of industry-supporting activities, including business networking, brand presentations, fashion and art installations, mini-talk sessions, seminars, and press conferences.
This entire series is designed to bridge designers, industry players, buyers, media, and the public, while strengthening Bali's position as an epicenter of creative fashion, blending culture, tourism, and business innovation.
