In the Pandemic Era and Beyond Abstract In the COVID-19 Pandemic era of 2020-2023, which the world faced crises in multiple spheres such as the health system, social activities, and economic life, Indonesia was one of those developing countries that had made great efforts to the health system, with the PEN program.
Meanwhile, the government had maintained its development policies to be implemented, such as the Nusantara project. How had the state’s budget been managed to balance both? In this presentation, I would like to try to figure out the logic behind the development amid the Pandemic.
Presenter:Tetsu Konishi, PhDAn Associate Professor at Fukuoka Women's University, specializing in political economy, financial regulation, and Southeast Asian studies. He holds a Ph.D. in Area Studies from Kyoto University and has conducted extensive research on Indonesia's economy, corporate governance, and state capitalism.
